A holiday with us is all about relaxing and unwinding. Enjoy the comfort of our modern rooms and suites.
Your room will be available from 2.00 pm on the day of arrival. If you are arriving after 8.00 pm, please let us know briefly. We ask that you vacate the room by 10.00 am on the day of departure.
Subject to availability, a late check-out can be booked. A charge of €30 per person applies, which includes the room, the coffee and cake buffet, the wellness facilities and the swimming pool.
The Hotel Matschner offers an extensive ¾ pampering board: the day starts with a large breakfast buffet. In the afternoon, guests can enjoy a cake buffet with savoury and sweet options.
Dinner includes a starter and salad buffet as well as a 4-course menu with soup, main course (choice of meat, fish or vegetarian) and dessert. All dishes are prepared with regional and homemade products.
Yes. The Hotel Matschner is directly connected via an underground passage to the Dachsteinbad – a modern indoor swimming pool complex with a large sports pool, a children’s pool, a sauna area and a gym.
Physiotherapy and massages can also be booked if required. Entry to the Dachsteinbad is included free of charge for all hotel guests as part of their stay. Bathrobes and sauna towels are provided in the room.
Yes. Children of all ages are very welcome at our hotel! In our spacious garden, there’s a playhouse, table tennis and a children’s cross-country skiing park for your little ones – and from July 2026, there’ll even be a huge new outdoor playground with a double zipline, a trampoline and a water play area.
In summer, you can also make the most of the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card and a varied regional programme featuring pony rides and children’s climbing. You can hire pushchairs, baby carriers and sledge runs from us completely free of charge. Cots and extra beds are free for children up to and including 5 years of age.
The ski bus stop for the Ramsau and Schladming ski areas is located directly in front of Hotel Matschner. The ski areas can therefore be reached in just a few minutes. Rittisberg, approximately 3.5 km away, is ideal for families.
The town of Schladming with the Planai can be reached by bus or car in around 15 minutes. In winter, there are also groomed cross-country trails right outside the hotel door at the Ramsau am Dachstein Nordic Cross-Country Centre.
Yes! If you’re holidaying with us in summer (mid-May to early November), you’ll receive the Schladming-Dachstein Card completely free of charge.
This gives you free access to over 100 leisure attractions, mountain railways, toll roads and regional buses in the area. Conveniently, the bus stop is located directly opposite our hotel.
If you spend your winter holiday with us, you’ll benefit from our perfect location: our hotel is situated right next to the World Cup stadium and offers direct access to the 220 km network of cross-country ski trails in Ramsau am Dachstein.
What’s more, we’ll issue you with the Ramsau WinterCard right at reception, giving you access to numerous discounts (e.g. on cross-country ski tickets). A modern ski room for your equipment is available on-site.
