Family holidays at Hotel Matschner
Holidays with children at the Matschner family hotel
Hi, kids! Enjoy yourselves. Since we love kids of all ages, we respond to their needs and make sure that they have everything they need. Of course, mum and dad don’t miss out either. Because we are only satisfied when you are all happy. Ramsau am Dachstein is a huge adventure playground for families.
And thanks to the Schladming-Dachstein Card, which you automatically receive upon arrival, even more fun awaits you in the Schladming mountains. Free cable cars and buses, guided hikes, admission to swimming pools and museums and much more will make your summer holiday in Ramsau even more enjoyable.
Wollis Kids park, aqua zorbing, the Rittisberg adventure mountain, Kali Express slow train, Sattelberg adventure trail, watching marmots on the Bachlalm or hiking through the cool Silberkarklamm gorge.
We could go on and on. Ramsau am Dachstein and the entire Schladming region are a genuine paradise for kids.
Many excursion destinations are also easy to reach with a stroller and there are also plenty of adrenaline kicks for teenagers here in Ramsau. Maybe you would like to try archery, summer tobogganing or ziplining with the whole family?
Another highlight of a family holiday on the Dachstein is a visit to the glacier. However, you need a head for heights to venture onto the “suspension bridge with the stairway into the abyss” and the Skywalk observation platform. Up you go in the state-of-the-art panoramic gondola with a fantastic view over the entire region.
The Sattelberg is our personal favourite. Because little adventurers and big explorers alike feel at home there. Whether on the adventure trail, in the “Zwergerl“ kiddie farm or at the water world. Our own research station will surely amaze you, too.
Are you looking for more adventures and a fun time with your family? Then come to us at the Hotel Matschner: We are your base camp for a fabulous family holiday!
And as parents to four little rascals of our own, we know exactly what kids need to make them collapse into their cosy bed tired and happy in the evening.
